Challenge
Making Aamir Khan speak naturally in Bengali, Kannada, Tamil, and Punjabi, with perfect lip movements that look like he actually recorded each version.
Britannia NutriChoice's national campaign starring Aamir Khan was a major investment. Rather than re-shooting the entire commercial in multiple languages (which would have been prohibitively expensive and logistically impossible with a celebrity of Aamir Khan's profile), they needed a technology solution that could adapt the original Hindi ad into Bengali, Kannada, Tamil, and Punjabi, with lip movements so precise that viewers would believe Aamir Khan actually spoke each language. Any visible artifact or unnatural mouth movement would be immediately noticeable given the celebrity's recognizable face.

Aamir shot the film once, in Hindi. Regional voice artists then dubbed the script, and we re-synced his mouth frame-by-frame to each dub — so he appears to speak Tamil, Kannada, Bengali and Punjabi natively. Drag the slider to compare the original against our output.
Solution
We developed a custom AI workflow specifically calibrated for high-profile talent. Our lip-sync pipeline analyzed every phoneme in each target language and mapped precise mouth shapes to match the dubbed audio. Special attention was paid to Aamir Khan's distinctive facial expressions and speech patterns, ensuring the AI-generated lip movements felt natural and authentic.
Each regional version underwent multiple rounds of quality testing, comparing side-by-side with the original Hindi version to ensure consistency. The final deliverables were broadcast-ready in Full HD for national TV deployment across Bengali, Kannada, Tamil, and Punjabi markets, with additional dubs prepared for extended regional coverage.

For two languages we went further than dubbing. We cloned Aamir’s voice and had it perform the translated English and Tamil scripts in his own voice — matching the reference artist’s delivery beat-for-beat — then lip-synced the footage to it. Drag to hear the difference.
